Avon Product of the Week: Avon Perfectly Matte Lipstick

Avon Product of the Week: Avon True Color Perfectly Matte Lipstick

Avon Perfectly Matte Lipstick

If you haven’t noticed, matte lipsticks are all the rage!

The matte lipstick look can be found everywhere, from magazines to runways.  Keeping up with the trends, Avon has recently introduced their own line of matte lipsticks, so of course, I had to try them out!

Avon Perfectly Matte Lipstick

I graduated from wearing lip gloss to lipstick, a few years ago.  The reason I preferred lip gloss over lipstick, in the past, is because I don’t like how lipstick causes my lips to dry out and I hate how lipstick smells and tastes!  I have noticed, however, that most Avon lipsticks are not drying and they have a nice fragrance, plus they don’t have that bad taste.  Since I discovered that, I began wearing lipstick on the regular, because lipstick tends to last longer than gloss.   I was a little skeptical of using a matte lipstick at first, for the reasons stated above, but I like how matte lipstick looks on other people.  It looks so chic and it really pulls a makeup look together, so I gave it a whirl!

I ordered Avon True Color Perfectly Matte Lipstick in Perfectly Nude, Ideal Lilac, Superb Wine and Coral Fever.  I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t drying at all.  It went on smooth.  I was also impressed by how long-lasting it was, even after I ate and drank.

Overall, I really like the lipsticks, my favorite being Superb Wine.  I give it a 4/5 rating.

I found 2 different video reviews on You Tube that I thought would be helpful to anyone that wants to try Avon Perfectly Matte Lipstick for themselves!
