Rodrigo Flores-Roux

Rodrigo has a distinguished career in perfumery spanning over 20 years and several countries, including Mexico, France and the United States. In 2007, he re-joined the house of Givaudan, where he had his initial introduction to perfumery more than 15 years ago.

John Gamba

John began his studies in medical laboratory technology, but it was a lucky twist of fate that steered him into the world of perfumery. Today, he has over 30 years of experience, including working for Fragrance Resources and joining Givaudan in 2003 as a Senior Perfumer. He continues to create signature fine fragrances.
Two renowned perfumers from the premium global fragrance house Givaudan share their
inspiration for creating Imari Elixir.  The original Imari, which launched in 1985, was our main source of inspiration. It’s a fragrance that’s as globally relevant and successful today as it was 30 years ago. It’s a true classic with seductive and timeless appeal.
For Imari Elixir, we stayed true to the core Imari fragrance, yet modernized it with hypnotically rich and sensual notes to captivate a woman’s senses right from the first impression.  The challenge of modernizing such a successful, iconic classic for Avon was a very Respecial experience for us.  Imari Elixir is especially unique because it was crafted using ingredients of the highest and purest quality: Italian Mandarin, Rose Absolute from Turkey, Mohéli Ylang-Ylang from the Comores Islands, Indonesian Patchouli, and Vanilla Extract Pure from Madagascar.  The layering of these ingredients imparts a deeply sensual and exquisite feeling to the fragrance.
