Pink Champagne Nails
I ordered a new polish from Avon with my last order. I chose Avon Nailwear Pro+ in Pastel Pink because I loved the soft, pastel color. Plus, I felt that the color fit in with the nude/soft pastel color trend that I’m seeing on everything from dresses to purses. I decided on this mani, because I like the way the sparkle polish looked against the pastel pink. After I completed my mani, I realized that they were the same color as my purse, my wallet and my phone case! I must really like this color! Isn’t it funny how a person can be attracted to the same color and not even realize it? Like the times when you go shopping and come home to the realization that you bought 3 shirts and a pair of shorts all in the same color and you didn’t even notice? So, here is my mani that I like to call Pink Champagne.

After using a base coat on all of my nails, I painted them with Avon Stardust Nail Enamel in Crystallized Pink, excluding my ring fingernail, with 2 coats. I then painted the ring fingernail in Avon Nailwear Pro+ in Pastel Pink, with 2 coats, and let dry. When my nails were dry, I took the Pastel Pink polish and started from the outer corner and painted upward, toward the middle of my nail in a sweeping motion. I went on the opposite side of the nail, and swept the polish up toward the top-middle of my nail to make the two “swoops” meet in the middle. For the ring fingernail, I used the Crystallized Pink and did the opposite by starting on the bottom, middle part of the nail and painted in a diagonal fashion on both sides. After all were dry, I painted a top coat to seal it.
